~in new york for the CMJ festival right now. had a great show at Fat Baby in the lower east side last night. i’m still waiting on pictures to be sent to me, but i’ll post them when I get them.
~it’s hot here. 23 degrees and humid. but, I still managed to stick to my sight-seeing plans: central park, times square, chelsea, the village, tribeca, ground zero, battery park, brooklyn bridge, wall street, lower east side, washington square park, grand central station, rockefeller center. I’d need another week to see it all . . . but I think i’ve done pretty well for 2 days.
~we fly out at 1:30pm tomorrow. looking forward to seeing you, vancouver. here’s some pics:

October 12, 2007
~car broke down this week. arrgh! was nice driving a rented Yaris for a few days though.
~spending most of my time getting prepared for the New York Show. Check out the Canadian Blast website for all the details.
~i’ve been doing a lot of work at a great new studio in Vancouver called FaderMaster Studio. I produce demos and records for a lot of local songwriters either there or at my studio: the bunker. you can read and listen to all my production work at my producer myspace page. Below is a picture of studio owner shawn cole (aka Dr. Boss). a great friend and also the genius sound engineer behind my latest record, Limited.
~i spent time at Fader Master admiring the artwork:
Canadian Blast Showcase – NYC
September 28, 2007
~the cmj showcase is official. i’ll be playing with some great canadian acts: Hunter Valentine, Cadence Weapon, Wintersleep and Uncut on Oct. 18th in NYC.
~i’ve spent hours this last week on google earth trying to get familiar with manhattan. looks like i’ll be staying just a few blocks south of central park. here’s the good news: I was recently told that Bowen Island (my home) is geographically the same size as Manhattan. Simple!
